Purple Power® Industrial Strength Cleaner & Degreaser

  1. Can Purple Power be used in a Parts Washer?
    Yes, you can dilute 50/50 with water. If you need a stronger cleaner, increase the Purple Power amount until desired results.

     

  2. Can Purple Power be used in a Power Washer?
    Yes, you can dilute 50/50 with water. If you need a stronger cleaner, increase the Purple Power amount until desired results.

     

  3. Does Purple Power contain silicone?
    There are no Solvents or Silicones in Purple Power. It is a water-based product.

     

  4. Can Purple Power be used on a Rubber Roof?
    Purple Power is not recommended for use on a Rubber Roof because it could de-fat the rubber and cause cracking.

     

  5. Is there a way to remove Purple Power from windows or glass?
    Yes.  Working in a small area at a time, spray the surface with Glass Cleaner, and buff with a very fine gauge steel wool.  Rinse well.  Glass top stove cleaner will also work.

     

  6. Is Purple Power safe for washing cars?
    Purple Power is not recommended for use when washing cars as it could possibly destroy the clear coat surface and damage the paint.

     

  7. Is Purple Power safe for cleaning ovens?
    Purple Power is not recommended for use in cleaning ovens as it has not been FDA approved.

     

  8. Can Purple Power be used on Stainless Steel and Aluminum?
    Do not use Purple Power on Stainless Steel or Aluminum as it could leave white streaks or a hazy film. If accidentally used on Stainless Steel or Aluminum and you have this residue, try buffing with a Metal Polish, such as Wenols or Mothers Metal Polish to restore finish.

     

  9. Is Purple Power VOC Compliant?
    Yes, Purple Power is VOC Compliant in all states.

     

  10. Can Purple Power be used to flush Radiators and Engines?
    Yes, you can dilute 50/50 with water.  Use a De-Foamer if you experience some foaming during the process

     

  11. Can Purple Power be used on Leather Seats?
    Purple Power is not recommended for use on Leather seats as they can become dry and cracked.
    If accidentally used on Leather Seats, try neutralizing by washing the seats with a mild soapy car wash.  Thoroughly rinse and dry the seats.  Apply Needfoot Oil to the seats which can be purchased at a sporting goods store.

     

  12. What is the shelf life of Purple Power?
    Shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture. Although, if stored in original container and in a controlled environment, Purple Power can keeps its effectiveness much longer.
    Date of manufacture is stamped on bottle- first 2 numbers represent year, the ones following represent day of year.

     

  13. Should Purple Power be used on Chrome or Copper?
    Purple Power is not recommended for use on Chrome or Copper.  Chrome can become etched and will be permanently damaged.  Copper can become tarnished, but it can be polished back to brightness with a copper/brass polish.
